...The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Illinois...
East Branch Du Page River at Bolingbrook affecting DuPage and Will Counties.
Du Page River at Shorewood affecting Will County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...East Branch Du Page River from Maple Avenue in Lisle downstream to confluence with West Branch DuPage River, including the Bolingbrook gauge.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to late tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, DuPage River Greenway Trail is threatened east of the river near Royce Road in Bolingbrook. Trails threatened at Green Valley Forest Preserve near Woodridge.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:40 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 18.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 20.3 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late this evening. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
