Tropical Cyclone Lala will bring heavy rain to the Big Island and Maui County this evening through Sunday and Oahu, Kauai, and Niihau Saturday evening through late Sunday night.

* IMPACTS...Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to rapid runoff.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Tropical Cyclone Lala will bring periods of heavy rain to Kauai, Niihau, and Oahu Saturday evening through late Sunday night. Current forecast has rainfall amounts of 4 to 6 inches with local amounts up to 8 inches. The highest rainfall totals are expected over windward areas.
