Flash Flood Warning

At 747 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain over the Greer Fire scar had ended. Between 1.25 and 1.75 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the Greer Fire scar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the Greer Fire scar.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... River Reservoir, South Fork Recreation Area and Greer Lakes Recreation Area.

This includes State Route 373 near mile marker 389.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Rolfe C. Hoyer Campground, Benny Creek Campground and Hoyer Campground.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Lang Creek, Hall Creek, Fish Creek, Bill Riley Creek, Little Colorado River, Benny Creek and South Fork Little Colorado River.
