Periods of snow continue through Friday night before gradually drying on Saturday. Between Wednesday and Friday, snowfall totals will range from 2 to 4 inches. Isolated locations under any persistent heavier snow may see up to 6 inches.
Winds will be strongest today near Utqiagvik (Barrow) then weaken tomorrow, but strongest Thursday night into Friday from Nuiqsut to Kaktovik. Wind gusts will be up to 30 mph which may result in areas of blowing/drifting snow, lowering visibility at times.
