Flood Watch

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...Including the following area, Western Susitna Valley. This includes the town of Skwentna.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Over the past 48 hours 1.0 to 2.5 inches of rain have fallen into the greater Susitna Valley drainage system. Rivers and streams have continued to rise in the western Susitna Valley.

Excessive runoff will cause water levels to rise along rivers, small creeks, and streams. Rainfall could become impactful to erosion-prone areas and low-lying or poor- drainage areas across the western Susitna Valley.
