* At 1243 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Cottonwood, Verde Village, Clarkdale, Cottonwood Airport, Bridgeport, Jerome State Historic Park, Jerome, Dead Horse Ranch State Park, Bignotti, Tuzigoot National Monument and Mingus Mountain.
This includes the following highways... State Route 260 between mile markers 207 and 210. State Route 89A between mile markers 339 and 359.
This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Red-Tail Hawk Loop Campground, Quail Loop Campground, Raven Loop Campground, Blackhawk Loop Campground and Cooper's Hawk Loop Campground.
This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Coffee Creek, Bitter Creek, Verde River, Oak Creek, Blowout Creek, Oak Wash and Sycamore Creek.
