For the following areas... Waters from Little River Inlet SC to South Santee River SC from 20 to 60 NM... Waters from Surf City NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 60 NM...

At 1146 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 21 nm southeast of Wreck 33 to 7 nm east of Sunset Mid Shelf Buoy to 18 nm east of Vermillion Reef, moving southeast at 15 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and large hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage.

Locations impacted include... City Of Houston and Sunset Mid Shelf Buoy.
