* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Kansas, including the following counties, Gove, Logan and Wichita.
* WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1012 AM CDT, emergency management reported slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.2 inches are possible in the warned area. Emergency Manager reported multiple roads in southern Logan county are flooded as of 10 AM CT. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... rural areas of southern Logan county and northeastern Wichita county.
