* At 859 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Beckley, Mabscott, Sophia, Dry Creek, Prosperity, Bradley, Crab Orchard, Macarthur, Stanaford, Coal City, Beaver, Daniels, Shady Spring, Van, Whitesville, Lester, Sylvester, Arnett, Artie and Glen Daniel.
This includes the following highways... Route 19 near mile marker 1. Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 120 and 128. West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 31 and 52.
