At 928 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding may continue due to runoff.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Carlsbad, Artesia, Brantley Lake State Park, Avalon, Seven Rivers Airport, Carlsbad North, Whites City, Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Lincoln National Forest, Living Desert State Park, Lake Avalon, Cavern City Air Terminal, Lakewood, Dayton and Atoka.
