Flood Warning

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...

Driftwood River near Edinburgh.

East Fork White River at Columbus.

Flatrock River near Columbus.

East Fork White River at Seymour.

Big Blue River at Shelbyville.

East Fork White River near Rivervale.

.Minor flooding will continue along the East Fork White River. The initial crest is near Columbus and Seymour as of last Saturday morning and should reach Rivervale around Tuesday. Additional rainfall more than an inch in these basins could increase the crests. Moderate flooding continues on the Big Blue at Shelbyville but crest has occurred and the river is falling there.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Flatrock River near Columbus.

* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, On April 6, 2011 after reaching 13 feet... Noblitt Park...CR 400N and Owens Bend Park remained flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 AM EDT Saturday was 13.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow evening and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
