* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Mississippi River at Natchez.
* WHEN...From this morning to Monday, July 13.
* IMPACTS...At 43.0 feet, Water covers Thornburg Lake Road in the area known as Anna's Bottom which is north of Natchez. Also, Lake Mary Road is under water. Lowlands along the river in areas not protected by the levees are flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 39.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 42.0 feet Tuesday evening. - Action stage is 38.0 feet. - Flood stage is 48.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
