Flash Flood Warning

At 536 PM CDT, Broadcast media reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Near County Road 244 and Highway 15. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Broadcast media reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Mainly rural areas of Western Lee and Northern Pontotoc Counties.
