At 1220 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Kingsland, Round Mountain, Gainesville, Granite Shoals, Horseshoe Bay, Highland Haven, Longhorn Cavern State Park, Blowout, Inks Lake State Park, Cottonwood Shores and Sunrise Beach Village.

Over 3 inches has fallen at Honey Creek near Kingsland in the past hour.
