At 500 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 12 nm north of Yankeetown to 8 nm north of Bayport to 7 nm east of Tarpon Springs. The thunderstorms were nearly stationary.
