Gila River At Gila River at Duncan affecting Greenlee County.
* WHAT...The Gila River is expected to exceed bankfull levels at 16 feet once again this afternoon into evening as a secondary crest impacts the site.
* WHERE...Gila River at Gila River at Duncan.
* WHEN...Until this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Action Stage: Water could begin to damage the dike structure that protects Duncan.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM MST Wednesday the stage was 6.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 16.6 feet late this afternoon, gradually lowering to 16.3 feet this evening. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 17.7 feet on 09/16/2013. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
