* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of southwest and western Texas, including the following areas, in southwest Texas, Central Brewster, Chinati Mountains, Chisos Basin, Davis Mountains, Davis Mountains Foothills, Lower Brewster County, Marfa Plateau, Pecos, Presidio Valley and Terrell. In western Texas, Borden, Crane, Dawson, Ector, Glasscock, Howard, Martin, Midland, Mitchell, Reagan, Reeves County Plains, Scurry, Upton and Ward.
* WHEN...Through Friday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and evening and again on Friday over the Permian Basin, Trans Pecos, Davis Mountains, Marfa Plateau and Big Bend region as an upper level low slowly moves westward over the region. Localized rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches with isolated amounts over 4 inches will be possible with the heaviest showers and thunderstorms that develop.
