At 1043 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front, capable of producing winds to around 25 knots. This front was located along a line extending from 6 nm southeast of Northeast River to Pooles Island to 10 nm northwest of Fort Smallwood State Park, moving southeast at 25 knots.
A thunderstorm will also cross the Chesapeake Bay north of Pooles Island.
