Extreme Heat Warning

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures in the mid to upper 100s expected. Low temperatures around 80 degrees will provide little relief from the heat. HeatRisk will be in the purple (extreme) range to the red (major) range through the weekend.

* WHERE...Glen Canyon Recreation Area/Lake Powell.

* WHEN...Until midnight MDT Monday Night.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events.
