At 233 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles east of Walsenburg, or 31 miles north of Trinidad, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and brief heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Huerfano and north central Las Animas Counties.
