* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 6 to 8 ft.

* WHERE...South facing reefs of Kosrae.

* WHEN...Until 3 AM ChST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwesterly swell looks to persist through through Friday morning. This may get additional support from Tropical Depression 17W, which will continue to strengthen over the next couple of days, as it moves westward away from the region.
