Flash Flood Warning

At 555 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain have moved southeast of the North and Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Between 0.1 and 0.7 inches of rain have fallen. Additional storms may be moving into the western edge of the burn scar around 630 PM. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the North and Middle Aspen Acres Burn Scar.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Beulah and San Isabel.

This includes the following high risk locations... Beulah Water Intake, Northcreek Road county line to Red Mountain Camp and Northcreek Road from Red Mountain Camp to Beulah.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Middle Creek, North Creek, Squirrel Creek, Willow Creek, North Red Creek, and South Hardscrabble Creek.
