* WHAT...Tropical storm conditions expected. Winds increasing to 25 to 40 kt with gusts to 50 kt today, and 30 to 50 kt with gusts up to 60 kt tonight. Seas building to 15 to 27 feet today. Winds and seas will decrease tomorrow.

* WHERE...Kauai Windward Waters, Kauai Channel, Oahu Windward Waters and Oahu Leeward Waters.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Very strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
