At 1110 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 25 knots and weak waterspouts. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located 12 nm southeast of Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi River, moving west at 25 knots.
