* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Nueces River at Laguna.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Major flooding reaches recreation camps between Camp Wood and Uvalde. Secondary and primary roads and bridges and can be life threatening. Livestock should be moved from flood prone areas of the flood plain from the headwaters to Crystal City.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 19.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 PM CDT Thursday was 21.9 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 21.1 feet late this evening.
