At 815 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Marion to near Mount Morris, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include... Oswego, Geneva, Canandaigua, Geneseo, Letchworth State Park, Fair Haven Beach State Park, Newark, Williamson, Marion, and Perry.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 390 between exits 6 and 8. Interstate 90 between exits 40 and 44.
