* At 429 PM AST, Strong thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts and gusts up to 50 knots were located across the Caribbean waters of Puerto Rico from 10 NM to 17N, moving northwest at 40 knots. Additional affected waters include the Mona Passage and western coastal waters of Puerto Rico.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
