At 1041 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Bales Spring Branch, Grassy Creek, Hyco River, Big Branch, Bowes Branch, Aarons Creek, Coleman Creek, Dan River and Big Bluewing Creek.
