* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is imminent or occurring. Water flowing over roadways will create slick roads and muddy unpaved roads. Ponding of water on highways and in urban areas will create hazardous travel conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 355 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in and around Chino Valley. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Big Chino Wash, Little Chino Valley, Granite Creek, Williamson Valley Wash, Dillon Wash, Mint Wash, Cooper Wash, Verde River, Bottleneck Wash and Butte Wash. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
