Special Weather Statement

At 1241 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 20 miles northwest of Nordman, or 45 miles northwest of Priest River, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Ione, Metaline Falls, Metaline, Sullivan Lake Campground, and Noisy Creek Campground.
