* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Yentna River.
* WHEN...Until noon AKDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water could enter a few low-lying cabins along the Yentna River, particularly near Lake Creek.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 346 PM AKDT, the river gauge on the Yentna River indicates rises in water levels from heavy rain across the advisory area. Minor flooding is expected to continue or begin shortly, especially along the Yentna River near Lake Creek. - Anticipate water levels along the Yentna River to continue rising before reaching a crest Tuesday afternoon. Water will then slowly recede below minor flood levels by around Wednesday night. - For Yentna River at Lake Creek: At 2:50pm the stage was 20.9 feet. Flood Stage is 20.5 feet. Forecast: A crest around 22.0 feet is expected around 4:00pm Tuesday.
Impacts: At 20.5 feet: Anglers Inn & King Point Lodges will have water in several cabins.
At 22.0 feet: Several lodges and resorts will have water in a number of cabins with water also encroaching the main lodge buildings.
For Yentna River near Yentna Station: At 3:59pm the stage was 18.1 feet. Forecast: A crest around 21.6 feet is expected around 10:00pm Tuesday. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
