Medina River At Bandera affecting Bandera County.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cibolo Creek at Sutherland Springs.

* WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 37.0 feet, FM 539 is flooded and impassable near the Cibolo Creek. Access to some homes may cut off due to the floodwaters. Backflowing could affect residences along Gum Branch and Alum Creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 30.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:15 PM CDT Thursday was 30.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 37.2 feet late tonight.
