At 434 AM CDT...Fair weather waterspouts were located near Farewell Buoy...moving east at 10 knots.
Locations impacted include... Arnica Bay, Orange Beach, Big Lagoon, Sand Island Lighthouse, Perdido Bay, Gulf Shores Beach, Fort Morgan, Bon Secour Bay, Farewell Buoy, and Wolf Bay.
The primary threats from these waterspouts are wind gusts up to 30 knots and locally higher waves. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until these waterspouts have passed.
Weather conditions support the development of waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waves and seas. If a waterspout is sighted...seek safe harbor immediately.
