* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Nueces River below Uvalde.

* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Major flooding extends well into the flood plain. Livestock in the flood plain should be moved to higher ground immediately. Highways 57, 65, 85, 190, and Farm to Market 1025 are flooded and closed. Fencing and roads are damaged.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 16.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM CDT Friday was 26.5 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall to 12.0 feet late this afternoon. It will then rise to 14.6 feet late this evening. It will fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight to 4.0 feet late Sunday evening. It will then rise to 4.2 feet Monday morning.
