* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values between 95 and 108 degrees. The worst of this heat is expected to be Thursday and Friday...but regardless this will be a prolonged and dangerous heatwave.
* WHERE...The Berkshires as well as the south coasts of both Massachusetts and Rhode Island excluding the Cape and Islands.
* WHEN...From Wednesday morning through Saturday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.
