* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Northwestern Fairfield County in central South Carolina... Northeastern Newberry County in central South Carolina...
* WHEN...Until 815 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 518 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... VC Summer Nuclear Station, Whitmire, Blair, Monticello, US-176 and SC-34 Crossroads, Maybington Fire Station, Enoree Ranger District Office and Henderson Island. - This includes Interstate 26 between mile markers 62 and 72. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
