* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...North Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 1215 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry washes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1029 AM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Brown Wash, Contreras Wash, Santa Cruz River, Guijas Wash, Las, Cocio Wash, Seco, Arroyo, Banner Wash, Brawley Wash, Placeritos Wash, Bolas Blancas Wash, Sabino Wash, Alambre Wash, Soto Wash, Thomas Canyon Wash, Santa Margarita Wash, Little Thomas Wash, Puertocito Wash, Robles Wash, Los, Saucito Wash, Solano Wash, Arivaca Creek, South Mendoza Wash, Mendoza Wash, Blanco Wash, Champurrado Wash, Fresnal Wash, Altar Wash, Peitas Wash, Fresno Wash, Cerro Prieto Wash, Viopuli Wash, Aguirre Wash and Pan Tak Wash. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.6 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Three Points, Avra Valley, Tucson Estates, Picture Rocks, San Pedro and Pan Tak. - This includes the following highways... Route 86 between mile markers 136 and 157. Route 286 between mile markers 16 and 45.
