* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following areas, Cook, De Kalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, Lee, and Northern Will and northwest Indiana, including the following areas, Lake and Porter.
* WHEN...From late tonight through Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms late tonight through Saturday morning may produce widespread rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour that could lead to flash flooding, particularly over urban areas.
Additional thunderstorms Saturday evening into early Sunday morning have the potential to produce torrential rainfall that results in flash flooding, though the exact placement of this rainfall remains unclear.
