Flash Flood Warning

At 819 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. An alert gauge in Douglas measured 1.61 inches in one hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Douglas, Bisbee-Douglas Airport and Pirtleville.

This includes the following highways... Route 80 between mile markers 353 and 373. Route 191 between mile markers 1 and 16.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Whitewater Draw, Gadwell Canyon and Leslie Creek.
