* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Mississippi, including the following counties, George, Greene, Perry, Stone and Wayne.
* WHEN...Through Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall will continue through at least Thursday afternoon in addition to the rainfall that fell on Monday. Additional rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches are expected with locally higher amounts, which may cause flash flooding, especially in urban and other poor drainage areas. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
