Flash Flood Warning

At 308 PM MDT, the gauge on Pine Creek at Escalante reported flows of 1090 cfs from earlier thunderstorms producing heavy rain across Pine Creek Box Canyon. This water will continue to move downstream into the Escalante River and through Upper Escalante River Canyon. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen today. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
