Special Weather Statement

At 1126 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking several strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Uniontown to 13 miles southeast of Connellsville to near Bittinger. These storms will train across the same portions of southern Somerset County bringing between 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain between 1130 pm and 1230 AM. Movement was east southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Meyersdale, Ursina, Mount Davis, Confluence, Salisbury, Garrett, Addison, Wellersburg, Casselman, and Callimont.
