At 1009 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that earlier thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain fell. Additional thunderstorms are approaching the warned area, and they could produce another round of heavy rainfall. The additional rainfall could allow any ongoing flash flooding to continue or worsen.
