At 314 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sun, or 8 miles southwest of Bogalusa, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Bogalusa, Picayune, Covington, Abita Springs, Sun, Bush, Mcneil, and Crossroads.

This includes Interstate 59 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 11.
