At 844 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Rock Creek Marina and Campground, or 8 miles southwest of Clinton, moving southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Clinton County, including the following locations... Rock Creek Marina and Campground, Folletts, Rock Creek Park, and Clinton Municipal Airport.
