The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... Tonto Creek in Gila County in east central Arizona...

* Until 1215 AM MST.

* At 1005 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain has ended across the warned area from Gisela northward. However, between 1 and 3 inches of rain fell earlier this evening, and flooding is still expected along Tonto Creek south of Gisela through midnight. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in this area.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Oak Spring Canyon.
