...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY AFTERNOON INTO SATURDAY...
.Widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms will follow behind the front this afternoon continuing overnight into Saturday. Thunderstorms may produce erratic outflow gusts up to 50 mph. By Saturday morning, most thunderstorms are expected to produce wetting rains.
* AFFECTED AREA...In Idaho, Fire Weather Zones 400 Northern Boise BLM, 420 Treasure Valley BLM, 423 Owyhee Mountains, 424 Western Twin Falls BLM and 426 Southern Highlands. In Oregon, Fire Weather Zones 670 Burns BLM, 671 Steens Mountain, 672 Southern Grasslands, 673 Central Canyonlands and 674 Northwestern Vale BLM.
* TIMING...Until 6 AM MDT /5 AM PDT/ Saturday.
* THUNDERSTORMS...Scattered coverage with abundant lightning.
* OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusty erratic winds up to *50 mph*.
* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
