Wind Advisory

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.

* WHERE...Delta Junction.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM AKDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Strong winds will lead to areas of blowing dust which could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As of 10 PM Tuesday July 21, wind gusts up to 58 mph have been observed so far in Delta Junction with visibility at 1/4 mile or less due to blowing dust. Expect strong winds to continue overnight ahead of a band of rain moving in tomorrow which will lessen winds in Delta, but keep winds elevated south of Delta over Isabel Pass.
