* Until 1230 PM EDT.

* At 904 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Dunkirk, Fredonia, Westfield, Silver Creek, Mayville, Lake Erie State Park, SUNY Fredonia, Chautauqua Institution, Findley Lake, Chautauqua, Portland, Sheridan, Ripley, Stockton, Brocton, Mina, Arkwright, Sherman, Forestville and Cassadaga.
