For the Styx River...including Elsanor...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Styx River near Elsanor.

* WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, water begins to flood low lying areas on Donovan Circle in the Seminole Landing community. Water begins to overflow bulkheads on Juniper Road. Goat Cooper and Waterworld Roads are flooded with Riverside and the Retreat RV parks flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 14.8 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 16.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning to 7.6 feet Sunday morning. It will rise to 7.8 feet early Sunday afternoon. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.1 feet on 05/27/2022. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
